Got let go from my front desk job at the Cedar Rapids Public Library on a Friday in March after a parent complained about a book display I set up, and by Monday two other people had posted about it online like they knew the story. The strange thing is that same week I got three calls from old coworkers I hadn't heard from in years, all saying the same thing, that HR never even asked me what happened before they made the call. Still waiting on the review board to look at my side of it, has anyone else had a job cut you loose over one complaint with no real sit down first?
