Am I the only one who thinks an all cash diet made my grocery run cheaper but way more stressful?
I tried going full cash only for groceries on Saturday at the Kroger on 5th and walked out with $73 left from a $100 bill, but I had to put back a $9 pack of chicken because I miscounted at the register and the lady behind me sighed loud. My buddy says cash forces you to budget better and he swears hes saved $200 a month, but my other friend says hes lost receipts and ended up overspending because he just grabs another $20 from the ATM without thinking. I think both are kind of right, it makes you feel the money leaving your hand but it also makes every checkout line a math test. What do you all do, count it out in the aisle or just guess and hope you dont embarrass yourself?
