Why does nobody talk about the fee gap between cash and card at the pump?
Filled up at a station in Fresno and had to pick between paying cash for $3.89 a gallon or swiping my card for $3.99, so I dug out bills for the first time in months. The 10 cent gap saved me about $1.40 on a 14 gallon tank, but it also made me think about how those little card fees quietly pile up for people who never carry cash. Anyone else keep cash around just for the discount, or do you eat the fee for the ease?
