Six months in a two bedroom in Oakland with a guy who never paid his half on time had me ready to pack up and move back to my parents' place in Fresno. A coworker kept pushing me to try a roommate matching app and I told her it sounded like a way to get robbed. Then my landlord hit me with a $900 rent bump in June and I had no choice, so I made a profile and actually read the questions instead of skipping them. Met a nurse who had the same weird sleep schedule as me and we've split rent on time for 4 months now. Did the app work for you right away or did you kiss a few frogs first?
