The public library's free coding meetup changed my mind about learning solo
I used to think you had to grind through tutorials alone to learn anything, so I spent 4 months stuck on the same React state problem. Last Tuesday I walked into the downtown branch's beginner coding circle just to use the wifi, but there was a guy showing his broken login form to like 8 people on a projector. Watching them debug it out loud, catching the typo in the setState call, it hit me how much faster you pick things up talking it through. Has anyone else found that group learning beats solo tutorials for certain topics, or am I just bad at self study?
