A barista told me my latte art was 'aggressively mediocre'

I've been pulling shots for about 2 years and thought my rosetta was decent. She said my milk texture was too thin and I was pouring too fast, so I slowed way down and started steaming for an extra 8 seconds. Has anyone else gotten a blunt critique that completely reset their technique?
