Hit 2,000 cups on my home setup and noticed a weird pattern

I finally logged my 2,000th pour over this morning after 18 months of daily brewing, and turns out my dripper tastes totally different at home versus my buddy's kitchen, anyone else find their water or altitude messes with extraction that much?
