That $75 omnibus had tiny print and now I know why

I grabbed the Absolute Sandman vol 1 last month from a shop in Portland for 75 bucks, thought I was getting a steal. Got home and the pages are gorgeous but the font is so small I need a magnifying glass. Found out oversized editions from the early 2000s are notorious for this, check the page count versus file size before you drop cash. Anyone else get burned by a fancy hardcover that hurts to read?
