3 dives in a row with the same leaking exhaust valve, getting old fast
We pulled a valve job off the rig in Galveston last week and I noticed a tiny stream of bubbles coming from the exhaust seam on the second dive, so I flagged it, but the supervisor said it was just trapped air. Today, third dive in a row, same leak, and now my comms unit is acting up because of the moisture, which makes the whole team nervous when we're 80 feet down. Has anyone dealt with a slow leak that the topside crew keeps brushing off, and how do you get them to actually fix it before it becomes an emergency?
