Serious question, is a $280 dive light worth it when a $40 one works fine?
I dropped $280 on a top shelf canister light before a 3 week job in the Gulf and my old $40 backup died on day 2 while the expensive one never even flickered. Everyone on my crew says I wasted my money and should have just bought three cheap ones instead. Does anyone here run cheap lights on real jobs, or did I just get lucky with the pricey one?
