Dropped $120 on a Klein voltage tester after a client's outlet bit me
Got zapped pretty good at a house in Mesa three weeks back. Old wiring, no ground, and my cheap $15 tester said it was dead. It wasn't dead. Bought a Klein NCVT-3 for around $120 the next day and it caught a hot neutral in the same panel that my old one missed completely. That thing has already saved me from two more close calls on service calls. The cheap one is in the trash now. What testers are you all running, and has a cheap one ever burned you on a job?
