Last week I had the weirdest streak of dead hard drives

Monday morning I got three calls in two hours, all about computers that wouldn't boot. First one was a laptop from 2015, just a dead click. Second was an older desktop that kept freezing, turned out to be a failing drive. Third one, a friend's external drive with all their family photos. I spent the whole week swapping drives and running data recovery. Has anyone else ever had a day where everything just decides to fail at once?

Walked into my office that Monday and the whole network was down. Server drive just gave up. Felt like the universe was syncing up against me. I've noticed these weird little clusters where things just break at the same time, like old appliances all dying the same month or car problems hitting one after the other. Makes you wonder if there's some invisible calendar for failure.

Man that's such a weird thing to notice but I totally get what you mean. It's like everything has this hidden expiration date that just syncs up somehow. I've seen it happen with my own stuff too, like one month the fridge and the washer both give out and then nothing for a year. Makes you wonder if there's some kind of pattern we're not supposed to see, right? Probably just random chance but it feels too coordinated sometimes.

Dude it's like your stuff just conspires against you all at once.
