Rant: a 2019 study said 61% of flat earth videos on YouTube get auto-suggested, and I can't get past that number
I fell down a rabbit hole last Saturday and ended up reading a 2019 study by a researcher in Ireland that looked at 200 flat earth videos on YouTube, and it found over 60% got recommended by the algorithm itself. That number keeps bugging me because it means the platform is doing more recruiting than any actual believer ever could. Does anyone know if that study has been redone since, or is it still the best data we have on this?
