Best week I ever had as a sub was 14 hrs of work I almost turned down
Back around 2019 I got a call from a builder in Fort Worth to frame out a small addition, just a 12x16 room, and I almost said no because the money was only $1,400 and I had bigger jobs on the board. Turned out the guy paid the same afternoon, no change orders, no waiting on other trades, and his site super actually had the plans right the first time. I finished in a week and a half, which back then was fast for me, and he handed me two more jobs off that one. I still think about that week when a job drags on for a month because nobody can make a decision. Do yall have one of those jobs that just went smooth, or is it always some kind of mess now?
