The old HVAC guy told me to quit taping duct seams and start sealing them
An old HVAC guy watched me tape a duct seam in a house outside Tulsa last month and told me tape peels off in 2 years because of the heat cycles. He showed me his mastic and mesh method and I have not bought a roll of foil tape since. Anyone else made the switch, and how do you handle tight spots where you can't get a brush in there?
