I finally get why guys obsess over antisway systems
Watched a video of a tower crane in Seattle dropping a load within 2 inches of a target using the new computerized dampers and now I'm looking up retrofit kits for my old Liebherr.

Actually I'd argue all that fancy tech is just making crane operators lazy and overconfident. What happens when that computer glitches or the power cuts out and you're left with a manual override you barely remember how to use? Wouldn't it be smarter to just master the old school methods instead of becoming dependent on something that can fail at any moment?
