Tried a remote camera setup on the hook, almost lost a load in Houston
Honestly, I rigged a wireless camera to the headache ball last week to watch the taglines instead of relying on the oiler's calls. The feed lagged about 2 seconds and I swung the beam right into a column, scraped off some paint but nobody got hurt. Lesson learned: delay is worse than no video, so I'm sticking with hand signals until I can wire a hardline camera. Has anyone else had bad luck with wireless hook cams, or is there a brand that actually keeps up?
