Found out last month that a 4 digit phone PIN takes seconds to crack
I was reading a security blog after my bank made me switch to a PIN and it said a phone PIN only has 10,000 combos, so a cheap tool can run through all of them in under an hour. I always figured 4 digits was fine since it locks after a few tries, but that only helps if someone is typing it in by hand. Does anyone here use a longer PIN or just switch to a password on their phone?
