Testing a free password manager saved my bacon after a breach scare. Last month I got an email from a gaming site I used in 2019 saying my login was in a data dump. I panicked because I had reused that same password for like 5 other accounts, including my bank. I spent a full Saturday switching everything over to Bitwarden, which is free for personal use. The cool part was the breach report feature that showed me which of my old emails were exposed. It took about 3 hours to update 40 logins, but now I sleep better at night. Has anyone else tried a password manager after a scare like this, and did you stick with it or go back to old habits?
