Found a deleted AMA where the person's whole account vanished mid-answer
Went looking for an old fitness AMA from 2016 and found a cached version where the user stopped typing after 'and that's when the injuries started', then the thread just cuts off. Anyone else run into posts where the account was nuked right in the middle of the story?

Wait, so the cached version shows the full story or does it stop at the same point? Because if the thread got deleted mid-sentence, that's usually a mod pulling it or the person rage-quitting. But the fact that it's cached and still cut off makes me wonder if the account got hit with something automated. Did you try looking up the username on a web archive or something to see if they posted anywhere else after? That might tell you if they bailed on purpose or if the account got shadowbanned. Also, what kind of injuries were they talking about? That detail feels like the whole point, and it's wild that they dropped it right there.

Ugh, that's the thing that's driving me nuts! The cached version literally stops in the middle of a sentence about the injuries, like the word "compound" and then nothing. It's not even a natural breaking point, which makes me think they didn't rage quit, they got cut off somehow. So did you actually check the username on archive.org or just the thread itself? Because if they posted something after that, even a comment somewhere else, that changes everything. Also, did the cached version have a timestamp or any weird moderator notes at the bottom? That would tell you if it was a bot nuke or a person hitting delete. Honestly though, if they were describing injuries that bad and just vanished, that's either a really dark joke or someone who panicked and ran. Which one are you leaning towards?
