That deleted Reddit post about archiving old AIM chats saved my grandma's blog posts
I was digging through a dead forum from 2009 looking for a recipe my mom posted, and the whole thread vanished right as I clicked it. Tried the Wayback Machine but it missed that page, so I was stuck until I remembered a comment I saw weeks ago in this community about backing up via Google cache. I pulled the cached version before it got purged, and it had the full text plus a screenshot of the recipe. Anyone else have a trick for grabbing stuff that's already half-deleted before it's fully gone?
