Spent 3 days chasing a fuel leak that turned out to be a $4 o-ring in Tulsa
Was it just me or has anyone else had a gremlin that makes you question everything, like the coolant loss I had on a 2015 Freightliner Cascadia that had me replacing a water pump and two hoses before I found the radiator cap was faulty, which side of the argument do you land on, trust the basics first or assume the worst?
Did the o-ring at least give you a good laugh after all that? That radiator cap thing hits close to home, I've definitely torn apart a cooling system that just needed a $10 part.
It's always the cheap stuff that hides behind the scary stuff. I lean toward trusting the basics first, but only after I've already sworn at the truck a few times.
