Just lost $80 on a VPN that sold my data to advertisers
Signed up for SecureSurf VPN in March after seeing their 'no logs' ads. Last week my credit card statement showed a charge from a data broker in Ohio, and when I dug in, their privacy policy had a hidden clause about sharing 'aggregate usage metrics.' Anyone else deal with a service that promises privacy but cashes in on your info anyway?

Did you check if that charge was actually from them, or just a sketchy reseller?
