Caught a Ring camera uploading video to a cloud server I didn't approve

I was sitting in my kitchen in Portland last Saturday when my firewall blocked 15 outbound connections from a neighbor's camera to a Chinese IP, so I walked over and showed them the log and they unplugged it on the spot, has anyone else found unauthorized devices on their network this way?

Wait, how did you spot it was uploading to a Chinese IP specifically? Did you just catch the address in your firewall logs or did you look it up after?

I mean it's not like they're uploading the nuclear codes, right? Seems like a lot of paranoia over a run-of-the-mill IP address grab @rileygarcia.

Buddy of mine saw the same thing, freaked out and unplugged his router.
