TIL a crypto project got banned from a major exchange just for talking about privacy

I was reading a report from a group called Coin Center last month. They found that a privacy coin got delisted from Binance not because of illegal activity, but because its developers openly discussed its privacy features in public forums. The exchange called it a 'reputational risk'. That's not finance, that's punishing speech. It makes you wonder how many other good ideas get silenced before they even start. What's the point of decentralized money if we can't even talk about what makes it work?

Yeah that "reputational risk" line is the whole game now. It's like when my local coffee shop stopped carrying a newsletter because it talked about union stuff, they just called it a "bad fit." Same energy. They don't have to give a real reason, they just make talking about certain things too costly.

Ugh, that's such a cowardly move.
