Tried a $7 magnetic dish for screws on my deck project and it actually worked

I was losing about 10 minutes per hour hunting for dropped screws while building a small deck in my backyard last weekend. Grabbed one of those magnetic screw dishes at the hardware store for 7 bucks and it held every single screw in place, even when I bumped the tray. Has anyone else found a cheap tool that saved way more time than you expected?

@amy_west I disagree, ten minutes an hour is a full workday gone by the end of a week.
