I finally perfected my indoor microgreen setup with a DIY LED rig!

After months of struggling with weak growth, I built a simple LED light system from spare parts. My arugula and radish microgreens are now bursting with color and flavor in just ten days! It's amazing how a little tweak to the light spectrum made all the difference. What creative solutions have you all found for indoor growing?

Everyone OBSESSES over lighting tech, but most indoor grows fail from simple neglect. I've seen plants thrive under basic shop lights as long as watering and temps are consistent. Fancy LEDs might help, but they're hardly the MAGIC bullet some claim.

Remember most plants just need seeds and water before we get fancy with light spectrums.

Awesome! LED tweaks are key. My basil went nuts after I dialed in the blues.

Overstate the importance of spectral tuning all you want, but consistent watering and decent soil will beat fancy blues every time. Your basil might have surged, @finley679, but was it the LEDs or just finally getting the pH right? I've seen plants thrive under cheap full-spectrum bulbs while hydroponic setups with precise wavelengths fail from nutrient lockout. Chasing the perfect light recipe is like optimizing tax deductions for a lemonade stand, mostly theoretical until the basics are solid.
