Tbh, I've noticed something real specific after my last three friends just stopped texting back around month three. It's not random or about being busy it's whenever I start asking for help with something big like moving or a ride to the airport. They're fine with casual hangouts but the second it gets inconvenient they bail. Am I the only one who's seen this exact timeline play out?

The "three month rule" thing is real but I think you might have the cause backwards lol. Most people are fine helping with a ride or moving if they actually feel close to you. The ghosting at three months usually happens because the friendship never moved past casual hangouts in the first place. Like if you only ever grab drinks or watch movies together, then asking for a big favor three months in can feel like you skipped a bunch of steps.
