Did you run into any issues with adhesive failure on the strips over time? I ended up using aluminum channels with mounting clips because the heat from the LEDs kept loosening the tape... totally worth the extra step. Another thing that helped was staggering two rows of strips slightly offset, it kills those last stubborn shadows. Just make sure your power supply has enough overhead so the lights don't dim when everything is on.
