I finally fixed my rattling ceiling fan without replacing it
That wobble in the master bedroom fan drove me nuts for 6 months. I tried tightening the screws twice and even swapped blades, nothing worked. Then my dad suggested checking the balancing kit that came in the box, a little plastic clip set. I spent 20 minutes moving the clip around the blade edges until the shake stopped. Cost me zero dollars and the fan runs smooth now. Has anyone else tried those clip weights or did you just bite the bullet and buy new?
