My bathroom faucet handle snapped off in my hand this morning

I was trying to turn off the water in my house over by Wolflin and the whole plastic handle just crumbled, spraying water everywhere. I had to shut off the main valve under the sink and now I'm stuck with a bare stem sticking out. Is there a good local place to get a replacement handle that won't break again in six months?

Oh man, that's the worst kind of morning surprise. Those plastic handles are basically made of hopes and prayers. You might try that hardware place over on Bell, they usually have a decent selection of actual metal replacement parts in the back.

Wait, they still make plastic handles? Thought they stopped that after the 90s.
