That pink stuff paste wrecked my grout lines, what do you use instead?
Honestly, I tried that Pink Stuff paste on my bathroom tile last Saturday because everyone online swears by it. It cut through the soap scum great, but it left this weird white residue in the grout that won't rinse out, even after 3 passes with a damp sponge. Now the grout looks worse than before, like patchy chalk marks. I'm about to hit the Grout Doctor on Bell Street this weekend, but has anyone else run into this or found a better cleaner that doesn't mess with the grout color?

Tbh, that "patchy chalk marks" look is probably just the paste drying into the pores, and you'd have the same issue with any cleaner if you don't scrub it out with a stiff brush while it's wet. Grout Doctor is just gonna sell you the same kind of alkaline cleaner, so save your weekend and hit it with a toothbrush and some vinegar first.
