Caught myself grading my own AI art folder and every single piece was a closeup face
Last week I opened the folder where I dump every AI image I make and counted 60 files, and 47 of them were a face or head floating in soft light, nothing else going on. What tipped me off was a comment under one I posted on a Friday night: "this looks like the same picture again." I got kind of mad, then scrolled back and realized they were right, I had been picking prompts that felt safe and never pushed the background, the hands, the framing. So I stopped deleting the ugly ones and started filing them by why they failed, and the dumb repeats became really easy to see. In my view that is the biggest trap with this stuff, you get good at one shot and mistake it for range. Anyone else keep a fail folder, or am I the only one who needed a stranger to point it out first?
