Just watched a popular AI art channel shift from rough sketches to polished photoreal in 6 months
I followed this guy on YouTube who was making those weird AI blob creatures back in March. By September his stuff looked like pro concept art with perfect lighting and no weird extra fingers. Turns out he was secretly using a new upscaler and manual touchup in Photoshop but not telling anyone. People were leaving comments saying how much he "improved" and he never corrected them. Has anyone else noticed these overnight jumps in quality that feel too clean to be real?

Saw a thread about this on a digital art subreddit where people were comparing time stamps on his videos. Someone pointed out that a few of his "progression" posts had identical backgrounds just with different filters slapped on. Kinda wild how many people just accept the glow up without asking how it happened.

Wait, so his "art journey" was just layers and filters the whole time? Guess that explains why his "style evolution" looked like an Instagram filter pack.

Point @taraross to that same trend in fitness influencers too - same before and after, just different lighting and angles, and people eat it up like it's real progress. Honestly, it's just human nature to want a quick fix without looking too close.
