PSA: my AI art tool cropped out a customer's hands and now I'm out $75
Last Tuesday I used an AI art app to make a quick family portrait for a coworker who paid me $75 for it. The app gave me this nice looking picture but when I looked close, the mom's hands were straight up missing and one kid had six fingers. I tried to fix it in the app for an hour, no luck, so I had to redraw the whole thing by hand and refund half the money. I mean maybe it's just me but if a tool can't get hands right after all this time, how is it gonna handle anything real. Has anyone else gotten burned by AI art on an actual paid job?
