Small win: Got my team to agree on an AI transparency rule
I pitched a simple policy at work last month that any AI-generated customer response has to include a plain text disclaimer. Three people actually pushed back at first, but after one rep got caught faking a whole apology email with ChatGPT, they all came around. Anyone else running into this kind of resistance inside their own org?

Oh wow, good for you. And @finleyl39 is spot on, trust takes a real hit when bots are involved.

Yeah because nothing says trust like a bot writing your apology.

Did the person even read the apology before it was posted, or did they just approve a template and move on? That's the real question in my mind, because too many times these things feel like they were written by a committee or a PR firm with no real remorse behind it. I've seen apologies that were clearly copy-pasted from other scandals, just with the names swapped out. It makes you wonder if the person actually sat down and thought about what they did wrong, or if they're just checking a box to make the story go away.
