Question about using AI for writing code that I tried last week

I was really skeptical about using AI assistants for actual coding work. Thought it would just spit out garbage and waste my time debugging. But last Wednesday I had to write a Python script to clean up about 5,000 CSV files and I gave it a shot. The AI generated 90% of the working code in under 2 minutes and I only had to fix 3 small bugs. I honestly didn't expect it to handle real project files with messy data that well. Has anyone else found a specific type of coding task where AI actually saves you serious time?
