Spent $200 on an AI headshot thing for my cleaning biz, got 40 blurry photos with 3 fingers
Paid $200 to a site that promised pro pics from my phone selfies in an hour, and every one of the 40 shots had weird fingers or a warped collar. Turns out the free tier at a different tool gave me two usable pics in ten minutes. Anyone found one of these that actually works for small business stuff, or is paying for it just a scam?
Paying for AI pics isn't automatically a scam, you just picked a bad tool. The tech works fine when it's built right, and a lot of small shops use it now because a real photographer costs way more than $200. Three fingers and warped collars mean that site was running cheap junk and hoping nobody would notice. Free tiers can beat paid ones, sure, but that doesn't mean the whole idea is broken. It means do a test run with a few selfies before handing over your card.
