I thought AI would kill my wife's medical billing job by now, two years later it's still there
Two years back I was sure the software her company bought for $40k would replace her whole team of 9 in Denver. Instead they hired 2 more people to fix the messed up claims it spits out, and her boss said the denial rate went up until they added staff to check it. Is anyone else seeing AI make more work instead of less, or is my wife just at a bad company?
