Back around 2012 I worked HR for a logistics company near Columbus and hiring for a warehouse slot meant me and two others spreading paper resumes across a long table and stacking them into yes, no, and maybe piles. It took a full day and we missed good people all the time, usually the ones whose formatting was plain but whose work history was solid. Now the same company runs everything through a screening tool and the whole cut takes about 60 seconds, which should be great except a guy I know with 8 years of forklift experience got auto-rejected last month for a typo in his address. I keep wondering how many decent applicants got tossed before anyone noticed. Has anyone here pushed back on their company's screening setup and actually gotten it adjusted?
