Just realized my 'simple' AI spreadsheet fix took me three days
My boss wanted me to use a new AI tool to sort and label a year's worth of supplier invoices. It was supposed to take an hour, but the AI kept misreading the handwritten dates and amounts. I had to go back and check every single entry from the last six months manually. Has anyone else found that AI tools for data entry need way more babysitting than they promise?

Oh, the "supposed to take an hour" line is the biggest lie in tech. I've spent more time fixing an AI's bad guesses than it would have taken to just do the work myself from scratch. It's like they sell you a self-driving car that still needs you to steer. You end up doing the job twice, once for the AI and once to fix its mess.

Start with a clear prompt and check its work every few minutes.
