inTalked to a guy who had camped in Alaska for 30 years and he said sleeping bags are a waste of money if you have the right layering system
Honestly @xena_bailey18, have you tried just writing down what that guy said and checking it against what you already know? I did that with my old mentor's advice on distributors once, pulled out a notebook and scribbled his exact words. Turned out he was dead right about timing being more important than brand names, saved me a ton of headache later. Sometimes hearing it from someone who's been in the trenches makes all the difference.

inGot my first solo traction job done without a call back
I get where you're coming from, but honestly I don't think it ever fully goes away for me. Even after thousands of jobs, that little knot in my stomach comes back every time I hit the power button on something I built from the ground up. You just learn to work with it instead of letting it freeze you, you know?

Wait, @mianelson, you mean there's more than one thing I can neglect on a fridge?

inThat old timer's tip about wire gauge saved me today on a job in Akron
Is it really that big a deal if a task takes a few extra minutes?
