Nearly lost $30 of chicken thighs to a slow cooker trick I saw on TikTok
Last Saturday I tried that frozen chicken breast hack where you dump a jar of salsa over frozen meat in the crock pot on low for 6 hours, and the center of the thickest piece was still pink at the 6 hour mark. I had to toss two pieces and finish the rest on the stove, which blew my whole plan of a cheap set-and-forget Sunday dinner. Has anyone else had frozen meat stay cold in the middle like that, and what temp or time actually works for you?
