Had a client ask me where my "real" prices were after I sent a quote
I do commercial cleaning for small offices around Austin, and last week I sent a quote to a guy who runs a dental practice. It was $450 a month for twice a week service, which I thought was fair for 2,000 square feet. He called me up and said "where are the real prices?" like I was hiding some secret lower number under the table. I told him that was it, no haggling, and he sighed and said he'd think about it. Two days later he hired me anyway but asked for a free deep clean on the first visit. I said no again and he finally agreed to my terms. Has anyone else had a client accuse them of quoting fake prices?
