One's getting replaced, the other's getting a better assistant. It's all about how replaceable your pattern recognition is.

Kind of feels like we're panicking without looking at the full picture. Trucking isn't going anywhere overnight and graphic design AI tools still need a human to actually make them look good. People act like every cashier and driver is getting replaced tomorrow but most of these changes are way slower than the headlines make it seem. Remember when self-checkout was supposed to kill all retail jobs? Now stores are hiring more people to watch the machines. Maybe it's not as dramatic as everyone thinks.
