Vent: my brother-in-law called my air fryer bacon 'cheater bacon' at Thanksgiving
He watched me pull out 6 crispy slices in 8 minutes and said that, so I made him try a piece and he went quiet for the rest of dinner, has anyone else had to defend their air fryer to a stove purist?

Wait, did he actually admit it was good or did he just clam up because he knew he was wrong? That quiet silence is either a man realizing he lost the argument or him being too stubborn to say thank you. Because in my experience, stove purists will die on that hill even when the food is objectively perfect, you know? Air fryer bacon is just better for crispy texture, it's not even a contest. Did he sneak more slices later when he thought nobody was looking?
