Borescope battery died mid-inspection at ORD last Tuesday

I was 14 fastener holes into a wing spar check on a 737 when my borescope screen went black, so now I keep a spare power bank clipped to my tool bag, has anyone else had their scope die at the worst possible moment?

Spent a whole hour crawling around a cargo bay once and my camera battery gave out with like 30 minutes of work left. Felt like a total idiot walking back to the truck to grab my old backup scope that I only bring on long jobs. Heard from a guy at my shop that the cheaper scopes have worse battery life in cold weather, so that might've been part of it for you too. Now I always charge mine the night before and keep a spare in my lunchbox, lesson learned the hard way. Power banks are a smart move for sure, I just wish these things lasted longer on a single charge.
