Took me 4 days to find a chafed wire behind a breaker panel

I was chasing an intermittent flap indication on a 737 and swapped sensors, checked continuity, even replaced the actuator before I finally pulled the panel and found the wire chafing against a standoff. Anybody else have a gremlin that turned out to be something dumb and hidden in plain sight?

Tape over the bare spots before you yank the bundle out. Saves you from hunting the same chafe twice. Good find though.
