Wired sensors still beat wireless in my book after 8 years of installing

I know everyone is jumping on the wireless bandwagon lately but I just did a full wired retrofit on a 3-story house in Portland last month and the reliability difference is night and day. Zero false alarms from interference or dead batteries, and the signal is instant every single time. Has anyone else gone back to wired after dealing with wireless headaches?

See this same pattern everywhere nowadays with people chasing convenience over reliability, from smart lights that lag to video doorbells that miss motion. It's the whole "newer isn't always better" thing playing out in real time, where a simple hardwired connection just works without needing an app or constant updates. Kind of refreshing to see someone doubling down on the stuff that never lets you down.

Tbh my wireless setup just mimics my life - always losing connection at the worst moments.

Get a UPS for the batteries and the wireless issues disappear.
