Chose the less accurate model for my hiring tool on purpose
My team wanted the 94% accuracy neural net, but I picked the simpler decision tree that was 82% accurate but had way less bias against non-traditional resumes. Got grilled in a meeting last Tuesday but the tree found 3 solid candidates the neural net would have filtered out.

Better to miss a few hits than let a system keep passing over good people.

Got a buddy who spent three years ghosting recruiters after one bad interview experience. He convinced himself the whole system was rigged. Ended up passing on a solid job offer because the hiring manager wore a tie he thought was too flashy. Missed six months of income over a fashion choice. Sometimes you gotta just take the hit and move on.
